Boy, it has been a long time since I last posted to this blog but I have been posting a lot on my other blog.

It comes down to time. I don’t have the time to write and post to both blogs and how things look right now I’ll probably have even less time in the future so it seems like I’ll be posting to my blogs in spurts.

In other words sometime I’ll be posting daily to my blog while at other times I’ll not be posting for days, weeks or even months.

Maybe I should consider blogging at one site. There would be fewer large gaps between posts.

I am thinking about starting a website where I can do more of what I want like putting links within a blog post, having pictures, and adding other content that only having a website (hopefully free) set up by me and more under my control would enable me to have. The site provider (if I go that route) must allow me to post pretty much any content I want.

If I do start a website it doesn’t mean that I’ll be updating it all the time. It still may go months (or even a year or more) without being updated. The thing about web pages is there isn’t an expectation that they be updated all the time even if I use it similarly to a blogging site.

I remember one of the primary reasons I decided to blog on two sites (there were other reasons) was in case I found out one was deficient in one or more areas. Well neither blog site has been that bad. I still may have to keep one site and let the other go.

I’m glad I save copies of all my blog postings. I could repost them on other sites if I like. The data is never lost due to a site closing my account or something and I have extreme flexibility as to moving on to other blog sites if I desire.

I will probably have to add original posting dates and site posted on to the saved blog post so I can have a good record of when and where I posted to a blog which may or may not be available on the internet.
