There’s a little stretch there where I couldn’t find time to blog. I’m in the middle of employment change and that with house choirs like panting has affected my ability to blog. My other blog has even gone a longer stretch without an entry. I guess this is just the way things will go occasionally.

Job-hunting is a pain. I’m out here putting the so-called ‘Goldie-Locks’ (did I spell that right?) economy to the test. Frankly, I think the relatively good employment stats are misleading. I hear nothing from the street about good employment conditions yet the stats of the Bush administration on the economy aren’t that bad.

I wonder if there is manipulation of the economic stats somehow. The stock market for instance goes up every time the outrageous price of a barrel of oil goes up which makes no sense since higher energy cost will affect every aspect of an economy negatively.

Just look at the price of oil. It has almost tripled from one or two years ago. A barrel of oil was in the twenties a year or two ago but now it’s in the sixties (talking dollars here). The Hummer and giant SUV or pick-up truck drivers must be taking a beating.

So if unemployment is as low as the statistics indicate, I shouldn’t have too much difficulty finding employment of some sort.

I guess the ‘Goldie-Locks’ economy is something good to be said about the Bush Administration other than its ushering in of Orwellian laws where one has to watch (while they’re watching you) local law enforcement driving around in a strange blue colored car or the black and blonde haired women in the library who parked their car with a Greensboro license plate holder in front of yours near the local college’s gym.

Yes, the Bush Administration has ushered in an age of suspicion, fear and paranoia in government, business and amongst the population.

Speaking of suspicion I recently had to change my password to this site after noticing things like one of my post to the comments section on one of my blog entries being removed. I’m forever diligent but I hadn’t changed my password in a long time and think I should have. Some say you should change your password every four months or so.

Well I hope I can find more time to blog soon. I still have the urge to post.
